You have the right to have the vehicle fixed in the shop of your choice.
You are completely responsible for your deductible.
Know the shop's capabilities and if they do all the work or sublet portions of the repair process.
It is illegal for an insurance company to tell you where to have your car repaired.
Ask for a tour of the shop. You will learn a lot about how the company will treat your car by the way they maintain their
facilities.
Ask about the shop's guarantees and any limitations and/or restrictions.
Find out if the shop uses a guaranteed approved paint system. Look for a shop that uses one product system throughout
the complete repair process, it makes a difference.
Look for shops that use automated measuring systems when correcting damage to your vehicle and that they document the
process.
No matter where you get your car fixed, do what you can to make sure the job is done right. Protect your investment!
